Staff


 

Tera joined the District staff in 1999, and after two years as Assistant Administrator, she assumed her current role in December, 2000. She previously was employed as a consultant to the Wild Rice Watershed District,  Environmental Coordinator of Mahnomen County, and in the sales and marketing department of XOX Corporation. She holds a degree in geology, and has post-graduate training in hydrology, limnology, and management. She was raised in Mahnomen County.

Richard Hecock
Senior Advisor

Dick served as Administrator from 1993 to 2000.  He previously was Professor and Head of the Department of Geography at Oklahoma State University where he specialized in water resources planning.  He has been a life-long visitor to the Detroit Lakes area and a resident since 1993.  He was present for PRWD's first Board of Managers meeting in June, 1966.
                                                 

         Monica Almeida  - Water Resource Technician

Monica has an Evironmental Studies degree from the University of MN.  She comes to us from the Three Rivers Park District and has had experience in collecting and analyzing data from lakes and stormwater outlets, and employed lake and watershed models, supplemented by sophisticated GIS software, to characterize lake problems and develop management plans.

Terry Anderson

Harvest Supervisor

 

Terry has worked for the District since 1987, and as the Supervisor of the District’s two Harvest Projects since 1996.  He is an experienced mechanic and trucker. 

 

 



Jaime Omberg
Shoreland Permits, Education &
Bookkeeper

Jaime is a Detroit Lakes native of 29 years.  She was previously a Massage Therapist and Data Entry Specialist at the DLCCC in Detroit Lakes.  Jaime and her husband Nick both grew up in the area and now raises their two children, Mason and Mya.  She spends her free time with family and friends, and loves to scrapbook, plays volleyball, and enjoys being an avid Twins fan!

                   Rod Ambrosie                     Distrit's Engineer

Rod has served as the District's Engineer since 2004.  He is affiliated with Wenck and Associates.

Charles Ramstad
District's Attorney

Charlie has provided legal guidance for the District since 1988.  His law degree is from the University of Minnesota and he is a partner with Briggs, Ramstad, and Skoyles.
